Grants
Franciscan Grant is a need-based grant from Franciscan University that is based on your FAFSA financial need and academics. Not all students will receive a Franciscan Grant and the amounts vary. Franciscan Grants are awarded after a student is accepted and completes the FAFSA the first year attending Franciscan. Franciscan Grants are for tuition expenses only. Employees and dependents are not eligible.
Federal Pell Grant is a need based federal grant that is based on the FAFSA. To be eligible the student FAFSA SAI (Student Aid Index) must be lower than the eligibility amount set by FAFSA. The amount also changes based on credit hours taken.
Teach Grant -- The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides grant funds to students enrolled in an eligible program of study at a participating school. TEACH Grant recipients must teach full time for at least four years in a high-need field at a low-income school or educational service agency.
