Goals of the Program

Upon completion of the Doctor of Ministry in Evangelization and Catechetics, the student will be able to:

Engage contemporary challenges within the field of evangelization and catechesis with advanced theological acumen and critical thinking;
Address crucial ministry issues in the light of the Church’s history of evangelization and catechesis and current magisterial documents;
Develop strategies and pastoral plans for ministries within the field of evangelization and catechesis to effectively communicate the teachings of Christ and His Church with sensitivity toward various ministry and cultural contexts;
Grow in his or her own relationship with Christ, inspired by Franciscan spirituality, always aware that, “apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).
