CSL 634 Pastoral Counseling
This course is an introduction to the professional identity, responsibilities, goals, and functions of pastoral counselors. Major course topics include the study of spiritual and pastoral care, the experience of caring for parishioners and the general population in a pastoral way, issues of social concern and social justice, and special population ministries. Theories and techniques of pastoral counseling will be addressed.
