Credits earned during study abroad can be transferred to Franciscan University with departmental approval.

Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirement for the French Major:

FRN 434 or 435 and a minimum of 24 credits of upper-level French courses, HST 323 or 327 may be substituted for one upper-division French course.  All French majors are strongly encouraged to spend at least one semester or summer term of study abroad in a French-speaking nation or territory (typically France or Quebec) at a college or university in which the language of instruction is French. Credits earned during study abroad can be transferred to Franciscan University with departmental approval.
