SWK 209 Populations and Cross-Cultural Engagement

This course explores how cultural backgrounds, historical precedents, and social differences influence human interactions, social mobility, and societal organization. Students will examine historical and contemporary challenges faced by various populations and consider factors that contribute to social divisions, opportunity, and influence. Emphasis is placed on understanding the complexities of human relationships across cultural contexts, and developing approaches to foster respect and ethical engagement in light of a morally grounded understanding of human dignity.
