This course introduces students to engineering and the engineering design methods. Students will be familiarized with the various engineering subdisciplines. Team oriented design projects will be used to build skills in engineering design and problem solving. Professional communication skills will be developed within this engineering design setting. The Code of Ethics of the National Society of Professional Engineers will be introduced with applications.
This course complements Engineering Innovation I and aids the introduction of students to engineering and the engineering method. This course will focus on modeling and analysis of engineering systems. Professional communication skills will be developed within this setting of engineering experimentation, modeling, and analysis.
This course continues with material first introduced in EGR 102 Intro to Introduction to Engineering Analysis, continuing with coverage of current computer programming languages and basic statistical methods. Professional communication skills will be developed within this setting of engineering experimentation, modeling, and analysis.
