BIO 419 Principles of Toxicology

This course provides students with upper-level instruction about the effects of small molecules on the body and the environment. Students will gain knowledge about how drugs and toxins are introduced into the body, metabolized, and eliminated. The course covers toxic mechanisms, tissue specificity, experimental methods, and risk assessment.
