Core Curriculum Requirements

The following core program requirements for graduation will apply to all new and readmitted students entering the University beginning fall 2013 and thereafter:

Bachelor of Arts students are required to complete one American founding principles course, one Catholic traditions in fine arts course, one history course, two literature courses, either one math or one economics course, two natural science courses, three philosophy courses, one social science course, and three theology courses for a total of 45 core curriculum credits plus complete the intermediate foreign language requirement.

Bachelor of Science students are required to complete one American founding principles course, one Catholic traditions in fine arts course, one economics course, one history course, one literature course, one math course, two natural science courses, five philosophy and theology courses, and one social science course for a total of 42 core curriculum credits.

Associate of Arts and Associate of Science students complete 21 credits of core curriculum including: one theology core, one philosophy core, one theology or philosophy core, one history or social science or American founding principles core, one natural science core, one literature or Catholic traditions in fine arts core, and one math or economics core.
