Background Courses
EDU 560, Planned Field Experience, can be taken concurrently with EDU 503, Educational Research Methodology, or EDU 570, Master’s Project if availability for Planned Field exists. EDU 503, Educational Research Methodology, is a prerequisite to EDU 570, Master’s Project. A majority of reading course work must be taken, including phonics, before enrolling in EDU 548, Practicum in Diagnosis of Reading Difficulties. Students enrolled in Master of Science in Education and/or Educational Administration are advised to complete 24 hours of their educational coursework prior to enrollment in EDU 503 and EDU 570. This will enable students to select worthwhile education topics for their Master’s Project.
