Theatre majors are required to participate in at least two University productions during the completion of the degree, earning a maximum of 6 credit hours. At least one hour of theatre practicum must be earned by completion of a tech assignment, such as service on a stage crew.

Theatre Elective: The choice of theatre electives is regulated by the department. Students are required to complete 3 hours of any upper division theatre course not required for the major or one of the following courses: Shakespeare’s Comedies and Histories (ENG 324), English Drama (ENG 404), Modern Drama (ENG 350) or any upper division foreign language course that focuses on theatre literature.
