Accelerated Master of Arts in Philosophy Program
Philosophy majors maintaining at least a 3.0 QPA can apply in their junior year for provisional acceptance into the MA Philosophy Program. If accepted, students are allowed to take two MA courses in the senior year. The credit for these courses is applied to their undergraduate degree and also toward their master of arts degree. This reduces by two the number of courses that have to be completed for the MA and makes it possible for students to complete their course work for the MA with only two semesters of full-time graduate study.
