Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements for the Spanish Major:

25 credits at the post-202/206 level, meaning eight 3-credit courses plus the 1-credit thesis or the 1-credit seminar. Four of these courses must be content courses in Hispanic literature, culture, and/ or linguistics.

Spanish Major Elective:  Any Spanish major course may be taken upon completion of SPN 202 or SPN 206 or demonstration of equivalent proficiency. While it is not obligatory to take SPN 303 and SPN 304, it is recommended in most cases.  If necessary, SPN 304 may be taken before SPN 303.
