Residence Hall Personnel

The Assistant Vice President of Student Life is responsible for the oversight of the Residence Life culture and supervises the work of the Director of Residence Life and the Associate Director for Household Life and Student Formation.  Staff members involved in residential living include:

The Director of Residence Life who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Residence Life program, the training of Residence Directors and the assessment, evaluation and improvement of the Residence Life program.

The Associate Director of Household Life and Student Formation provides oversight and support to those involved in Households and plans and executes a variety of formation events for the student body.

The Housing Specialist works closely with Residence Life staff in assigning housing and developing and improving systems for assigning housing.

Residence Directors are professional, full-time, live-in staff who are responsible for managing the residence hall facilities, supervising the hall staff, facilitating the good order of the residential environment and fostering personal and community development.

Residence Coordinators are graduate assistants who share in the responsibility of facilitating the good order of the residential environment and fostering personal and community development.

Resident Assistants are students who have been specially selected and trained to work with the Residence Directors in carrying out their duties.

Chaplains and Pastoral Assistants are priests and religious who have part-time hours in each residence hall.  They are available to offer a listening ear, advice and guidance to the students in the residence halls.
