University Grants and Scholarships
Franciscan University Institutional Grant Program is established to offer assistance to deserving students for tuition and fees, room, and board. These grants are made on the basis of financial need.
University Academic Scholarships; highly competitive scholarships are based upon academic achievement. To be eligible, a student must:
- Have an overall quality average of at least 3.6 (based on a 4.0 system).
- Have a combined SAT score of at least 1100 or a composite ACT score of 23.
- Transfer students must have at least a 3.0 average after completing a minimum of 24 semester hours.
Funded Scholarships: Each year a number of generous benefactors donate monies for use as scholarships. The funded scholarships are then made available to students to encourage superior academic performance. Applications are available from the Enrollment Services. The deadline for applications is January 31.
