ENG 211 Writing about Literature
This course emphasizes expository and analytical writing through the study of Western canonical literature. Students practice writing as a multi-stage and recursive process reflected through assignments of varying length and formality. Readings are drawn from representative works of lyric poetry, drama, and prose fiction from a range of periods which may include classical, medieval, Renaissance, Romantic, and modern.
